Why I Am Running

Sheila’s run for County Commissioner is rooted in calling and service. Her ministry has consistently been characterized by servant leadership, marked by humility, compassion, and accountability. She believes in being a voice for those who are overlooked, and in finding real solutions to real challenges affecting families throughout our community.

This calling means showing up for differently abled individuals, those navigating mental health and cognitive challenges, senior citizens, youth, and individuals facing economic hardship who need a hand up rather than a handout. She is stepping into this race to serve the people of District 1 and Cumberland County. Her goal is to lead with intention, listen with empathy, and advocate with purpose for those whose needs often go unseen or unmet.
